7mm Pinfire Pepperbox Revolver
A highly unusual 7mm pinfire revolver, in the transitional 'Pepperbox' style, usually attributed to early percussion revolvers. The action is stamped "NJH", with Birmigham proof marks to the frame and cylinder.
The pistol sports an early broomhandle style grip, with excellent wooden pads, and deep checquering. The action indexes and returns perfectly for all six barrels, with a sprung sideloading gate.
A highly unusual piece, and a perfect demonstration of pistol design evolution.
