Belgian made Sea Service Pistol
  • Belgian made Sea Service Pistol

A nice .69 caliber sea service pistol, made in Belgium. These pistols were purchased by navies across Europe, including the British navy, who sought to supplement the shortage of home produced pistols for Naval service.

Based loosely on the new land pattern design, these robust pistols are chunky, with a man stopping bore size to match.

This pistol has a good action, dark metalwork with minimal pitting, and good wood work, with only a couple of small hairline cracks.

An excellent affordable piece of naval history, with good European proof marks.
