Dublin Castle Musket
A Dublin Castle stamped .75 musket, with George rex cypher. This musket was likely built from parts, but is complete - with a lock that sparks well, on strong springs. The top tang screw appears to be non original, and would benefit from work to improve the mounting of the top tang - as it sits proud from the stock. The trigger guard also could benefit from better fitting, and removal of a non originally positioned screw from the front.
Old pitting/weathered look to the barrel, but good wall thickness, and a clear vent. The stock wrist has been repaired at some point previously, but appears to be in solid condition. The stock has a few other repairs/infills. A very interesting piece, that could be greatly improved without much effort. Total length is 54".
